Fridays with Faith: Bitty Rescued
Good morning Fridays with Faith readers! Few things warm my heart more than a tail of animal rescue! Bitty, a 3 year-old Terrier made headlines after he was saved from a sewer tunnel in the middle of a storm. Scared and malnourished, Bitty escaped what could have been a terrible situation thanks to the help of Rescue from the Hart and Eldad Hagar of Hope for Paws, two animal rescue groups in the Los Angeles area. Within a couple hours he was all cleaned up and now he looks like a different dog! Bitty is currently living with a foster family and hopes to find a furever home soon. Thanks to the quick actions of animal rescue groups, he has a second chance at life!
We think it’s just pawesome to see caring folks rescue animals in need we wanted to lend a paw, so last year we started the Red Dog Relief Fund by ma Cares to help our friends at Red Dog Farm Animal Rescue Network here in the Triad to rehabilitate sick or injured animals. Since its inception we’ve helped over a dozen animals get the care they needed.
Ever volunteered to help animals in need? Have you witnessed a rescue that touched your heart? Share your story with us and be sure to come back next week for more tails and tips!
